Village Defibrillator Initiative 

Some of you will be aware that the Parish Council with the generous help of the Carlton Cross Community Group decided to purchase and install lifesaving Defibrillator Equipment at various points throughout the Village.  
 
We have all read from time to time how important the availability of this equipment can be in the event of anyone suffering a cardiac arrest needing help until the emergency services arrive on the scene and the Parish Council has taken advice from East Midlands Ambulance Services on appropriate locations for the equipment.  
 
The Defibrillators are installed at the following locations:- 
 
The Civic Centre, Long Lane

Carlton Club, Knaton Road

The Youth Centre, Lawn Road

The Grey Horses Pub, The Cross

The Parish Centre, Church Lane 
 
The equipment gives immediate advice to anyone who has dialled 999 to seek help.
